Robert Imschweiler

MSc. CS Student at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Fraunhofer AISEC

Hello World! I’m studying for a Master’s degree in Computer Science @TUM. My main special interests are security (I also love playing CTFs) and programming close to the hardware (either for performance reasons or in the context of embedded systems).

I’m writing my Master’s thesis @Fraunhofer AISEC. Additionally, I’m maintaining the Zulip chat instance of the TUM Computer Science department (zulip.cit.tum.de) which I installed in summer 2020 (we now have over 13,000 registered users). I also worked as a student tutor/assistant @TUM. I’ve been an instructor for the courses “Introduction to Informatics 1” and “Fundamentals of Programming (Exercises & Laboratory)” as well as a tutor for the course “Laboratory: Computer Organization and Computer Architecture”.

Alongside my studies, I was a working student for ESCRYPT, a brand of ETAS GmbH (Robert Bosch GmbH), building my knowledge and skills in the areas of (embedded) security and penetration testing.
